军队湾 is a popular spot for locals launching their boats, kayaking and paddle boarding. The gentle curve of the sandy beach, the seclusion offered and the views of the Hauraki Gulf have created a picturesque spot for visitors to simply relax and enjoy the views.
Across the road is the main entrance into 莎士比亚地区公园. The regional park is a habitat for native wildlife and includes a few scenic walking trails.
